Thùy was born in Sài Gòn and grew up in Poughkeepsie, New York. After graduating from Vassar College, she moved to New York City and eventually became an attorney. She became active with the Vietnamese community in 2004 to improve her own Vietnamese language skills and eventually became one of the founders of the Vietnam Heritage Center. As Executive Director, Thùy oversees both the day-to-day operations and strategic planning at VHC. In her spare time, Thùy likes to watch football and mail handwritten letters to her friends and family.
Tara Tran Nguyễn

Tara Thu was born in Saì Gòn and has been living and working in NYC as a public servant and community leader for the past 20 years. She has been a long-time proponent of the preservation of Vietnamese culture and language in the USA and is a founding board member of the Vietnam Heritage Center. In her spare time, Tara Thu loves singing karaoke.
Uyên-Chi was born and raised in New Jersey and studied International Business, International Affairs and Social Entrepreneurship at Northeastern University in Boston. She has broad experience across the private and non-profit sector and was recently a Fulbright Fellow to Vietnam in 2015. As Brand Strategist, Uyên-Chi oversees all marketing strategy and execution at VHC. She enjoys jazz, traveling, and volleyball.
Vy was born and grew up in Sài Gòn and moved to New York City to pursue studies in Business Operations. She subsequently became involved with the Vietnam Heritage Center's Vietnamese school as a teacher and has been an active member since 2015. When she is not teaching or managing VHC finances, she enjoys film photography.
